Mapping the field of generative AI and sharing it with others brings me great joy. I now work at an incredible intersection of technology, storytelling and entrepreneurship, and I love being part of ongoing efforts to educate and further empower new communities — be they solopreneurs, small teams, companies or collective networks — to design new futures together.

CONSULTING

Bell and Whistle

I’m the founder of a consulting company focusing on generative AI and creative technology, working with businesses to identify tools to streamline their workflows and solve pain points more efficiently. We offer one-off consultations, workshops, educational videos, presentations and retainer packages for more active support.

I speak on panels, give presentations, teach classes, interview experts and moderate public discussions exploring the intersection of AI and media.

Topics range from the ways in which these tools are transforming the creative process, technical tips around integrating AI tools into any workflow, the new paradigm of prompting, to the importance of ethics and deliberate process in any engagement with AI.

I’ve spoken at Cannes Lions on AI in Creativity and DEI, UTA’s AI Symposium, USC's School for Cinematic Arts, Runway’s AI Film Festival, Hollywood’s AI On The Lot and RealScreen West.

I’m currently developing an AI & Filmmaking certification program through the Cognitive Analytics Institute with my colleague & research partner Dr. Patrick Pennefather.

Education

I am currently developing an AI & Filmmaking certification program through the Cognitive Analytics Institute with my colleague & research partner Dr. Patrick Pennefather.

I am also working with Dr. Pennefather’s graduate students at UBC Theatre and Film in the Master of Digital Media Program as a client, co-developing an AI media company in the open to facilitate project-based learning, developing an experimentation lab for cutting edge ML technology, and showcasing how AI & ML can be used for real-world business use cases today.

Dear Future

I host a podcast about the intersection of art and AI, exploring use cases of various generative AI tools and some of the compelling characters making up the field. Our episodes are up on Spotify and Apple, with more releasing every month. These are produced at Echo Bend Pictures in Los Angeles.

I help run an angel investing syndicate dedicated to identifying and investing in companies at the intersection of artificial intelligence and media. I tap into my deep industry networks and expertise to unearth game-changing startups that are redefining media consumption, production, and distribution through AI.
